Dr. Amber Reid is a Trenton, New Jersey native trained and educated in the Atlanta University Center. She is a National Board Certified Counselor, researcher, educator, and historian. Her work has centered adolescents & young adults, African American communities, women’s wellness, LGBTQ+ communities, and individuals and communities impacted by HIV. Dr. Reid is passionate about decolonizing research and implementation science by  practicing community-participatory research.
